Dear all, 

The Sports Leaders will be running the teacher's day inter-house games together with the EL Dept.
The fixtures for the games is out! 

Handball - Carova vs Cypress (organised by Jacaranda)
Soccer -  Aspenvs Jacaranda (organised by Carova)
Basketball - Jacaranda vs Cypress (organised by Aspen)
Netball - Carova vs Aspen (organised by Cypress)

Each team will consist of 10 players (including reserves). 
Each team will have 2 teachers and 2 students each from Sec 4E/5N,Sec 3, Sec 2 and Sec 1).
House points of 250 points will be given to the winning team, and 100 points to the losing team.

Tanglin SL will be running an event on 31 August 2009, in conjunction with Teacher's Day celebration. 

The SLs will be conducting STUDENTS vs TEACHERS games for netball, handball, futsal and basketball. 

Details and ICs will be out asap. Sec 3s, pls volunteer to take your charge or I will shoot arrow. 

Sec 2s and Sec 1s will also help assist to run the event. We need as many people as possible!!

Tanglin Sports Leaders would like to welcome Bryan Tan.

There would be 2 more sec 1s joining this week, subject to teacher's recommendation.



Sec one SLs can now buy the SL jersey @ $17.50, SL jacket @ $15 (actual $25, $10 subsidised) and the grey PE t shirt @ $8.50.

All on first come first serve as I will not be ordering anymore this year. Pls also note that I only have 12 for each of them left.

Dear Sec Ones.

I apologise for the delay in naming the upcoming SLs. There are some issues with the Sec 2s i need to settle before I can announce. 

Buying of the SL shirt is on a first come first serve basis once the last 3 Sec Ones for this round is announced. The shirt costs $17.50 each. The jacket costs $25 each. The SL fund will subsidise $10 for the jacket so you only need to pay $15 each. 

The final selection results will be out by Tues, 11 Aug evening after I meet the Sec 2s.
